WHO IS BONA

Description of the Activity

Jared,

Thank you so much for your interest in SweetRush and our Learning Architect opportunity. We are EXCITED that you are moving forward in our interview process and please keep an eye out for a meeting invite for next week’s interview. As part of our process, we have a Creativity Question for you to complete prior to the next interview. Please carefully read the instructions below and let me know if you have any questions.

Creativity Question:

Bona, one of the world’s most successful flooring products company, has approached SweetRush to help them convert their 4-day instructor-led “Sand and Finish school” into self-paced eLearning. Bona has never created eLearning before. They have a generous budget, but need to gain buy-in from senior leadership that eLearning is an appropriate alternative to the classroom model. The audience for their training are:

  • Multi-generational, skewing slightly heavier on the 30-40 age range
  • Mostly but not entirely male
  • Professional wood flooring installers and finishers, most running their own businesses, and seeking Bona’s Certified Craftsman designation

Your challenge is to review this first PowerPoint they sent to SweetRush, and come back with your vision for “who is Bona” and their “12 commandments” and how you would treat this content in eLearning. Please share your thoughts for seat time, level of interactivity, and creative approach. Be as creative as you can. Bona is a high potential customer and we want there to be plenty of “wow factor.”

You do not need to actually create any design documents or develop any training. We’re mostly interested in your ideas for a creative solution. You have up to 2-hours to complete this Creativity challenge. We’ll reserve 15-20 minutes at your interview to discuss your ideas. You can prepare a summary document or presentation if you wish, but it’s not required.

Good luck and have fun!

A passing score of 90% or above is needed 3 consecutive times. All scores will be logged through the Bona LMS for verification purposes and approval for LIVE, Controlled Environment Training.

LIVE, CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT

This highly interactive simulation utility has the ability to fill ALL the identified GAPs that the in-person, 4-day instructor-led “Sand and Finish School” training achieves.

FINAL EXAM (ONLINE VIA Bona LMS)

12 section final exam, with 10 questions per section (randomly taken from a pool of 100 questions per section).  Each section of the exam will be focused on each of the 12 Commandments. 100% needed to gain certification.
